Pump Sales Representative – Southwest U.S.

Pump & Abrasion Technologies USA

We’re seeking a Pump Sales Representative to lead new business development across Arizona, New Mexico, and California for a global OEM specializing in high-performance slurry pumps for mining operations. In this high-impact role, you’ll build relationships with mine sites, open new accounts, and represent one of the most critical pieces of equipment on a site — the slurry pump — driving revenue, trust, and long-term growth for an expanding U.S. operation.

Position Offers

Base salary around $100K depending on experience, with total compensation ranging from $150K–$250K+ (base + commission). If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we can request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Flexible commission structure (quarterly, biannual, or annual)

Ability to live anywhere in Arizona with regional travel to mine sites

Small, fast-growing U.S. division of a global manufacturer with strong product support

Company vehicle, stipend, or travel reimbursement options (based on candidate preference)

Opportunity to drive expansion in an untapped territory with little existing competition

Future benefits expected in 2026 (health, dental, retirement)

What You’ll Do

Develop and execute a territory strategy to open 4–6 new mine-site accounts annually across AZ/NM/CA.

Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities with mining customers requiring slurry pump solutions.

Conduct site visits to assess applications, build trust, and ensure correct pump selection for critical operations.

Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations that reflect customer needs and technical requirements.

Manage your own book of business, maintaining a strong pipeline and updating CRM activity regularly.

Coordinate with engineering, technical specialists, and operations teams during sales cycles and customer support.

Represent PABT at mine trainings, industry events, and trade shows to expand awareness and customer relationships.

Report competitive activity, market trends, and customer insights directly to leadership.

Requirements

5+ years of slurry pump sales experience or pump sales within mining environments (slurry strongly preferred)

Direct sales experience on mine sites in Arizona, New Mexico, or California

Strong technical understanding of centrifugal and slurry pump performance in mining applications

Proven track record of success in long-cycle, relationship-driven technical sales

Self-motivated hunter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage a large territory

Excellent communication, trust-building, and customer relationship skills

Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Southwest region
