Bemana is hiring a Business Development Manager to join a global manufacturer of high-performance thermoset composite laminates that enable mission-critical performance across energy, industrial, and electronics markets.

The Business Development Manager for Power Generation & Motors is a hunter-focused role responsible for driving new business growth within OEM, manufacturing, and industrial markets. This position builds new customer relationships, develops qualified sales opportunities, and delivers value through a consultative, solution-oriented approach. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, technically curious, and skilled at identifying customer needs and creating opportunities.

Position Offers:

  • $125K-$150K base salary + uncapped commission. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business growth within the Power Generation and Motors market
  • Develop relationships with target OEM, manufacturing, and industrial accounts
  • Identify, qualify, and manage a strong pipeline of new sales opportunities
  • Influence customer specifications and material selection early in the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Maintain account plans, CRM activity, and market intelligence
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings
  • Lead with a consultative, value-driven sales approach to uncover customer needs and create opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical sales or business development experience in industrial manufacturing, materials, or engineered products
  • Experience selling to OEMs, manufacturers, or customers in power generation, motors, or energy-related markets
  • Proven success developing new business, generating leads, and growing revenue through outbound sales efforts
  • Ability to engage with engineering, operations, and procurement stakeholders throughout complex sales cycles
  • Strong account management, pipeline development, and CRM experience
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically
  • Experience with composite materials, electrical insulation products, or industrial components (preferred)
  • Familiarity with power generation, electric motors, rotating equipment, or high-voltage applications (preferred)
  • Knowledge of technical manufacturing, fabrication, or specification-driven sales environments (preferred)
