Bemana is searching for a General Manager/Director of Equipment Solutions to join a premier team in the Industrial and Material Handling Equipment industry. 

As the GM, you will develop and execute comprehensive strategies for warehouse sales and service operations, focusing on dock and door systems, rack and conveyor systems, automated warehouse solutions, motive batteries, and floor cleaning equipment.


  • Build and lead a sales team to grow warehousing business and leverage partnerships to achieve revenue targets.
  • Oversee the service department, ensuring efficient and effective maintenance and repair services for all product lines. Implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment lifespan.
  • Create a fleet of batteries for “power by the hour” solutions.
  • Review existing battery OEM partnerships and manage those relationships and/or source new vendors as needed.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock. Implement inventory control systems and regularly assess stock levels for optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use this information to make informed decisions and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop and manage budgets for sales, service, and operational activities. Monitor expenses and financial performance, implementing cost-effective measures when necessary.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in material handling sales and service management, preferably in the warehouse equipment industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a successful team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Knowledge of warehouse equipment, including dock and door systems, rack and conveyor systems, motive batteries, and floor cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to analyze and manage balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and budgets.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and systems for inventory control and sales management.
