Attention all HIGH-LEVEL crane technicians looking for the opportunity of a life time, to replace overhead crane systems in a facility that is building F-35 FIGHTER JETS! 

Responsibilities

  • Be part of an installation team to remove and replace crane rails and cranes.

  • Work with project management organization, safety coordinator, and quality inspector as well as leading daily activities including the oversite and planning activities of Subcontractors performing the labor in the install.

  • Crane Rail replacement

  • Replacement / Installations and testing of project specific cranes

  • Managing subcontractor/s daily activity

  • Creating Daily work plans and end of day reports

  • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance on installed crane base.

  • Evaluate and recommend repairs to customers.

  • Communications with customers for parts and remote support.

  • Work in environments that may require standing, walking, bending, crawling and working at heights.

  • Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those required by the customer.

     

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Associate degree in Industrial Electricity, Electronic Engineering Technology or related field or equivalent vocation/technical training and experience is preferred.

  • Strong background in AC and DC motor control systems.

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics and wire diagrams.

  • 2-5 years of previous crane experience preferred.

  • Computer skills to include MS Word and Excel.

  • Mechanical experience with gear reducers and drive systems preferred.

  • Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI and CMAA codes or regulations.

  • OSHA 30 / 10 training

  • Overhead crane operator and crane inspection certifications preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Sitting, standing, and walking frequently for up to 10 to 12 hours a day. Walking approximately one-half mile to one mile daily. 3-4 flights of stairs daily
  • Lifting or carrying between 25-45 lbs for approximately 400ft multiple times per day
  • Reaching overhead, at or above shoulder level intermittently
  • Working at heights up to 40ft in the air
  • Stooping, crouching, and kneeling 10-20% of the day
  • Fine manipulation of fingers 5-10% of the day
  • Working on unleveled surfaces in environments with minimal lighting
