Typical duties

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.

  • Strategize with hiring organizations on their most hard-to-fill job openings and collaborate with managers to draft job descriptions.

  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

  • Attract suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.

  • Screen candidates via phone and video, assessing candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.

  • Use discretion in submitting qualified candidates to employers.

  • Schedule interviews and prepare candidates and employers for successful interviews.

  • Collaborate with the client hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

  • Develop client leads and conduct sales calls, as needed.

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

What we offer

  • Unlimited earning potential with a base salary of $50,000 and uncapped commission structure. Average total recruiter compensation in 2023 was approximately $103,000.
