We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable energy company looking for a Service Manager. The Service Manager will lead and manage the Service Team to provide a high level of cost-effective and customer-focused service to customers in the Midwestern states. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage the Service function, taking overall responsibility for the performance and development of the service team.
  • Manage Service activities to deliver guaranteed availability at expected margin, ensuring consistency of high levels of service and service standards throughout the Midwest US.
  • Provide regular updates for current projects. Use experience and knowledge to solve problems and implement solutions.
  • Represent the Service function at meetings with customers as required, applying expertise and technical input to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Support the Service Manager – US and Managing Director with annual budgets, quarterly reforecast and other financial performance metrics.
  • Support the Service Manager – US in ensuring new installations are properly handed over from Projects to Service.
  • Complete the performance management process annually for the Field Service team ensuring that objectives and development plans are in-line with company goals.
  • Communicate with INNIO Jenbacher personnel as required to support all aspects of the distributor relationship, including but not limited to internal/customer training and certification, technical service support cases, warranty cases, concession cases, forecasting, IB updates, and DPPP metric

QUALIFICATIONS

  • INNIO Jenbacher, MAN Product & RNG equipment knowledge preferred
  • Power Generation and CHP knowledge.
  • Service price modelling & contract documentation development.
  • A minimum of 10 years service industry experience.
  • Extensive customer relationship building experience.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Change Management experience.
  • Performance management experience.
  • Coaching skills.
