Bemana is searching for a UPS Technician to join the team of an independent UPS service provider and equipment sales organization. They provide maintenance and remedial services on UPS systems and other industrial electrical equipment of all makes/manufacturers. Their customer base extends nationwide including companies from Fortune 50 companies to smaller, regional customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform routine UPS and Battery System maintenance (VRLA & Flooded Cell)
- Electrical equipment troubleshooting, primarily UPS.
- Interpretation of technical documentation and schematics
- Complete accurate paperwork for each job performed in a timely manner.
- Proper utilization and care of electrical test equipment and tools
- Emergency repair dispatch 24/7/365
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Uninterruptible Power Supply troubleshooting and maintenance
- Familiarity with use of electrical test equipment: Digital Volt Meter, Oscilloscopes, Battery Test meter (Hioki), Power Analyzer, etc.
- Basic computer skills
- The ability to lift and move equipment with weights up to 75 lbs.
- Detailed and clear oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to travel up to 75%
