We are looking for a Quality Manager in Hendersonville, NC to join a global leader with a century-long legacy of innovation that is currently expanding into the high-growth AI data center and microgrid markets. This specialized division is building a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in North Carolina dedicated to creating cutting-edge power generation systems. We are looking for a nimble, creative problem solver to lead the quality group for this greenfield site and drive a flawless product launch on an accelerated timeline.

Position Offers:

  • Up to $170,000 base salary + bonus opportunities. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, mentor, and empower a growing team responsible for internal quality assurance, process improvement, and supplier/customer quality management.
  • Foster a robust problem-solving culture with a “Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost” (SQDC) mindset across the facility.
  • Iterate on and maintain the Quality Management System, own the Quality Dashboard, and serve as the primary contact for third-party auditors.
  • Challenge the status quo by leading cross-functional teams in Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Value Stream Mapping to reduce waste and standardize best practices.
  • Act as a passionate advocate for the customer and communicate critical quality metrics and project deliverables to upper management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business.
  • At least 10 years in manufacturing large industrial assemblies, including 5 years in Quality Assurance.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Manager of People with proven ability to motivate and lead diverse teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality improvement tools, UL standards, and business analytics (SAP ERP or Power BI preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to define complex requirements and the ability to maintain effective relationships under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% and a commitment to maintaining rigorous safety and environmental health standards.
