We are recruiting a Warehouse Managerto lead operations at an office furniture distribution center in Kansas City. This hands-on leadership role oversees shipping, receiving, inventory control, and delivery coordination while managing warehouse staff, drivers, and installers. The ideal candidate is a strong warehouse leader who thrives in fast-paced distribution environments and maintains a safe, organized, and high-performing operation.
Position Offers

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the Kansas City distribution center, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment

Lead and develop a team of warehouse personnel, delivery drivers, and installers while ensuring productivity and accountability

Manage inbound and outbound shipments including freight, returns, transfers, and container movements

Ensure accurate picking, packing, loading, and delivery of customer orders while maintaining high quality control standards

Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation with inventory records

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse while collaborating with internal teams such as customer service, sales, and operations
Requirements

5+ years of warehouse or distribution operations experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role

Proven experience managing warehouse operations end-to-end, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and logistics processes

Strong leadership experience managing warehouse teams and driving productivity, efficiency, and operational performance

Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), material handling equipment, and distribution best practices

Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with a commitment to workplace safety and operational standards

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
