Bemana is searching for a Senior Valve Technician in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Our client specializes in control valves for municipal water systems, with a focus on Cla-Val products including pressure regulating, sustaining, pump control, and check valves. This role is a critical hire to stabilize and rebuild a service team, providing mentorship to junior technicians and serving as the regional expert on Cla-Val control valves.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform field service: inspect, repair, rebuild, maintain, and replace Cla-Val automatic control valves.
- Troubleshoot complex issues with Cla-Val valves and hydraulics in municipal water and pipe systems.
- Understand and adjust system impacts when operating or isolating valves to avoid failures.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate clearly with customers and internal managers.
- Rewarding, technical, and challenging work with premier products in a critical niche market.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of valve service experience, with direct expertise in Cla-Val control valves (required).
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics in water systems and valve system operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild Cla-Val valves independently in the field.
- Excellent diagnostic, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications in valve maintenance preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in variable environmental conditions (field-based role).
