Bemana is searching for a Account Relationship Manager to join a leading industrial distribution company. We are seeking a motivated and energetic sales professional to maintain and build a customer base in the greater Phoenix area. This position will support and be supported by their branch located in Tempe, AZ.

Successful candidates will be familiar with the area, be comfortable around manufacturing environments, have strong organization skills, with an ongoing desire to provide customers with the best experience possible. Account Managers partner with Specialists, supplier representatives, and customer experience teams to offer new and existing customers a wide variety of solutions designed to improve their bottom line. This is a great opportunity for a sales-minded professional who has a desire or interest in working with industrial tools.

Position Offers:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple accounts within an assigned territory, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained.
  • Establish and implement sales growth plan for each customer and location.
  • Always look for ways to provide value to customers, documenting cost savings and reporting back to the customer.
  • Partner with local supplier representatives and Specialists to create value and improved efficiencies for all customers.
  • Develop a pipeline of customer prospects through networking, referrals, research and cold calling, utilizing our CRM (Salesforce).
  • Plan, organize and schedule territory development.
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Meet or exceed budgeted amounts monthly and YTD.
  • Prepare target/key account sales plans, including CRM and Documented Cost Savings (DCS) activities.
  • Constant development of product knowledge.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in written form.
  • Self-motivated and well organized.
  • Prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts.
  • Take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgement and a realistic understanding of issues.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel overnight.
  • Must have at least two years of outside sales experience.
  • Industry related, metalworking or cutting tool experience is desirable but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
