Bemana is searching for a Field Supervisor in Louisville, KY to join the team of a well-established manufacturer of industrial material handling and sealing solutions. The First-Line Supervisor of Construction Trades and Extraction Workers will supervise, schedule, and coordinate the work of employees in relevant construction and extraction roles.
Position Offers:
- Salary range of $90,000 to $120,000

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction personnel, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and performing their duties safely.
- Guide, assign, schedule, and supervise the work of construction staff, contractors, suppliers, and extraction workers; ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Ensure each assigned construction trade and extraction worker follows all safety standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee the project/work site, ensuring safety standards are followed and quality work is being performed in a timely manner.
- Determine project requirements and procedures, and the required materials and workers, based on given project specifications such as blueprints.
- Perform daily walkthroughs of the project/work site to confirm availability and use of proper materials and tools; recognize and promptly address issues so that work can continue on schedule.
- Resolve problems and coordinate activities for the job through collaboration and communication with other management or technical staff and contractors.
- Conduct quality assurance tests of work and safety matters.
- Identify and recommend solutions for production problems, as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of construction trades and extraction work.
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough understanding of materials, methods, and tools used in projects.
- Ability to read blueprints and other reports outlining specifications.
- Must be able to traverse the worksite in different types of weather and bend, climb, stretch, reach, and lean to make inspections.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- In-state and out-of-state travel is required.
