Bemana is searching for a Director of Human Resources to join a rapidly growing Power Gen/Industrial company in Seattle.

Responsibilities:

  • Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization’s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization’s compliance.
  • Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters, including HR records, and update Company policies accordingly.
  • Hiring strategy and program execution to allow the planned growth and to mitigate the natural turnover
  • Retention strategy, career management and program execution to deliver targeted turnover level
  • Oversee the new employee integration process (including orientation and standard onboarding oversee).
  • Develops and leads employee experience and engagement feedback system
  • Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CFO or CEO, on personnel matters.
  • Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization’s wage and salary program.
  • Develop in collaboration with the CFO/Controller and provide information and reports on data such as staff turnover, references, cost per hire, training hours per person, retention, etc.
  • Willing to travel up to 60%

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in General HR and career management in a labor-intensive environment (service preferred).
  • Proven experience in employee engagement, organizational culture, and employee experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree considered based on experience.
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential a plus
  • HRIS systems experience
  • Communicative in Spanish a plus
