We are assisting a well-established family owned company with hiring a Logistics & Inventory Manager to join their team!
Position Offers
- Base of ~$100k + bonus (% of base salary). If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Responsibilities:
Department Management:
- Manage and maintain the required staff to run the department efficiently.
- Keep accurate records of performance according to our PEO guidelines.
- Manage projects relating to the department when they arise.
Shipping Duties:
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Verify shipping details, including addresses and product quantities.
- Generate and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
Receiving Duties:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.
- Unload trucks and containers using manual or mechanized means.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Record and report discrepancies or damaged goods.
- Update inventory systems with received items and ensure proper storage.
- Enter equipment details and photos into ERP.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain organized storage areas for easy access and retrieval of products.
- Implement and enforce inventory control measures to prevent loss and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in inventory audits and cycle counts as required.
Customer Service:
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding shipping and receiving status to internal departments and external customers.
- Address and resolve issues related to shipments, deliveries, or inventory in a professional manner.
Vendor Relations:
- Negotiate best costs for services.
- Maintain current vendor relations, hold them accountable.
- Develop relations with new high quality/value vendors.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for shipping, receiving, and handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving areas.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipping and receiving transactions.
- Prepare and file reports as required by management or regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Strong shipping and receiving experience
- International shipping/receiving experience is preferred
- Computer savvy
