Bemana is searching for a Pump Outside Sales Representative in the greater Denver, CO area. Our client is a is a leading provider of pump systems and on-site maintenance and repair services for customers in the commercial, industrial, and municipal market sectors.

As a Pump Outside Sales Rep, you’ll be responsible for prospecting local businesses (building/maintenance managers), for replacement and service projects, cold calling B2B, following up on leads, and maintaining strong customer relationships by providing ongoing support and handling service issues. 

 

Position Offers

  • Salary: $90k – $110k/year. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.
  • Uncapped Commission.
  • Car Allowance: $500/month.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(K) & Roth: 100% company match on the first 3%, plus 0.5 match on the 4th and 5th%.
  • Paid Time Off: Start with 3 weeks, with the potential to accrue up to 5 weeks per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow the direct Commercial & Industrial sales market (pumps, aftermarket, and service).
  • Prospecting on local businesses for replacement, maintenance, and service projects. 
  • Call on building managers, maintenance managers, and maintenance personnel.
  • Attend trade shows to promote our business.
  • Follow-up on incoming sales & service leads.
  • Maintain relationships with customers, providing ongoing sales support and handling service issues.
  • Regular study product offering, types of equipment, and service capabilities.
  • Constantly work to gain knowledge on competitors and their equipment.
  • Business to Business Cold Calling.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School or Trade School Diploma
  • Must have a minimum of 1+ years of proven sales experience and success with pumps, motors, and equipment in the water & wastewater industry.
  • Technical Training School or experience in electrical/mechanical trade.
  • Proficiency and aptitude to understand mechanical equipment and mechanical work.
  • Diagnose problems and determine appropriate action for sales or service opportunities.
  • Read, interpret, and work from sketches, books, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time.
  • Knowledge of Electrical and control circuits.
  • Excellent attitude and customer orientation.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficient computer skills.
