Bemana is searching for a remote Regional Sales Manager to join a company that is a prominent manufacturer and supplier of high-quality submersible pumps and motors, specializing in groundwater applications. Our client has an extensive product range and cutting-edge technology to ensure they meet the diverse needs of various industries, including agriculture, residential, commercial, municipal and industrial sectors. 

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth within the Southeast region, focusing on submersible pumps and motors used in groundwater applications. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with customers, providing technical expertise, and achieving sales targets.

Position Offers:

  • Up to $85k base + commission. If your target pay is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a regional sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including product selection, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product improvement
  • Training: Conduct training sessions for customers and distributors on product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Trade Fairs: Participate in segment-related trade fairs for lead generation and to build customer relationships and rapport.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the pump or motor industry, with a focus on groundwater applications.
  • Experience working for a manufacturer or distributor selling into the groundwater/well pump market.
  • Some technical knowledge of submersible pumps and motors, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel 60–70% across the region.
