We are recruiting on behalf of one of the largest John Deere Dealerships selling new and used construction, compaction, forestry, and concrete equipment in Mississippi, West Tennessee, and Arkansas.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work independently at customer’s locations from a field service truck
  • Heavy focus on paving, asphalt, milling, quarry, crushing, and roadbuilding equipment repairs
  • Recondition and repair equipment and components
  • Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases
  • Maintain and care for equipment and vehicles
  • Perform diagnostic inspections as directed
  • Complete company provided training to obtain necessary license and certifications: CDL, Wirtgen, Vogele, Hamm, Kleemann etc.


  • Experience or education related to repairing and maintaining equipment, diesel automobiles, or heavy trucks.
  • Previous experience with Wirtgen, Hamm, Vogele, Kleeman, Roadtec, Bomag, Dynapac, Weiler, Aztec is highly preferred.
  • John Deere experience is a plus.
  • Tools as required of a typical diesel technician.
  • Basic understanding of computers and computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and other software on similar platforms that will be used to diagnose and document repairs.
  • Analytical skills to diagnose complex problems.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean MVR; must obtain a Class B CDL for continued employment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule outside normal business hours, including overnight and some weekends.
  • Ability to travel for specialized paid training to support roadbuilding and crushing equipment.
