We are recruiting on behalf of a large and reputable Generator Service company that is looking for a Service Manager in the Northern Jersey area. This position comes with a competitive salary and great benefits.
Job Duties
- Direct service team with determining answers to customer issues; resolve escalated customer issues
- Provide frequent progress reports in order to improve service team satisfaction and efficiency
- Support service team in the field during overflow emergency situations
- Build relations with customers, manufacturing, distribution, and vendors
- Advocate service offerings and build customer loyalty
- Collaborate with sales team on special projects
- Provide direct supervision for special projects to ensure proper execution of services
- Coordinate equipment rental projects (generators, load banks, etc.)
- Ensure service team adheres to training standards to include safety policies and procedures
- Resolve escalated personnel issues with the assistance of human resources
- Support developing a scalable process and ensure the service team adheres to it correctly
- Assist in the annual budget process by forecasting operating expenses
- Stay current on industry standards and any new innovations that can benefit the company
