We are interviewing candidates for a Shop Foreman role on-behalf of Rental Tool & Equipment Company in Tabernash, CO. Our client is a family-operated equipment rental store that provides locals and general contractors with the tools and equipment they need to build and expand the community they live and work in. We are looking for a self- starter that will oversee daily operations of the shop, this is a hands on management role that includes, but not limited to, the following job duties:
- We are looking for a leader with a strong mechanical background that can manage our shop, yard and field technicians.
- Provide directions and duties to a team by participating in morning meetings
- Undertake other duties as assigned (e.g. repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc.)
- Keep logs of work and report on issues.
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Very good communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- History of capable leadership in a management role
- Experience with maintaining and repairing mobile elevated work platforms, telehandlers and general construction machinery and delivery vehicles.
- You will be responsible for ensuring annual and quarterly inspections, functionality and reliability of machines, engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. E
- xamples of our inventory include the following manufacturers: Bobcat, Sany, Multiquip, Allmand, Genie, Terex, NiftyLift, Ingersoll-Rand, Hilti, Bosch, Stihl, etc.
- Our rental fleet focuses largely on skid steers, MEWPs and aerial lifts, telehandler forklifts, compaction rollers, mini-excavators, mid-sized excavators, and a wide variety of small tools and lawn equipment.
- An excellent shop foreman must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail.
- We are looking for a person that must be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions.
SALARY RANGE:
$28/hr + or $75,000 base salary + compensation is pending experience
