We are searching for a VFD/Pump Field Service Technician in the Hudson, CO area. Our client, PumpMan, specializes in municipal and commercial fresh water well systems, focusing on submersible and turbine pumps, motors, and control systems. This role is a critical hire to support growing demand across Denver and surrounding areas, ensuring reliable water supply for entire communities.

Key Responsibilities
-
Perform installation, service, and troubleshooting of submersible, centrifugal, and turbine pumps.

Diagnose and repair electric motors and control systems, including three-phase and high-voltage (up to 2800V).

Wire and test motors, perform pump start-ups, and resolve system issues.

Use heavy equipment to pull and install pumps.

Interact with SCADA systems for monitoring and diagnostics.

Support municipalities during urgent water outages with professionalism and urgency.

Communicate clearly with customers, providing recommendations and technical explanations.
Qualifications

5+ years of electrical experience (motors, VFDs, high-voltage systems) plus 3–5 years of mechanical/pump work, ideally with submersible and turbine pumps.

CDL Class A license and crane operation experience preferred.

Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical systems independently.

Strong sense of urgency, reliability, and safety

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in variable environmental conditions.
